DreamCatcher

Privacy Policy — Dream Catcher

Last updated: 20 August 2026

Dream Catcher is a snore tracker that runs entirely on your iPhone.

The short version

We do not collect anything. There is no account, no server, and the app makes no network requests of any kind. Nothing you record leaves your device unless you choose to share it yourself.

What the app records, and where it stays

What we do not do

Your control over your data

Settings → Delete all data permanently erases every recorded night, episode, and audio clip from your device. Deleting the app removes everything it stored.

Microphone access can be revoked at any time in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Microphone. Without it, the app cannot record sessions.

Crash reports

If you have opted in to sharing analytics with Apple (iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Analytics & Improvements), Apple may send us crash reports. These are collected and anonymized by Apple, contain no audio and no recorded data, and are governed by Apple’s privacy policy.

Children

Dream Catcher is not directed at children and collects no data from anyone.

Not a medical device

Dream Catcher is not a medical device. It does not diagnose, treat, or monitor any medical condition, including sleep apnea. If you are concerned about your sleep or breathing, talk to a physician.

Changes

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted here with a new date. Since the app collects nothing, any change would be a clarification rather than a new use of data.
